Role Overview

As a Freelance Lead Generator, you will be responsible for finding and qualifying leads who could benefit from our services. Your work will directly impact our sales pipeline and business growth. You’ll operate independently while collaborating with our sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality leads.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Identification: Research and identify businesses within our target markets that could benefit from our web development services.

  • Initial Outreach: Contact leads via email, social media, and phone to introduce our services and generate interest.

  • Lead Qualification: Assess potential clients to ensure they align with our offerings and are ready for sales engagement.

  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with prospects, answer initial queries, and maintain engagement until they are ready to connect with our team.

  • Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls or meetings for qualified leads with our sales representatives.

  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of lead activity and provide regular updates on progress.

Hiring Task: Trial Project

As part of our hiring process, we ask candidates to complete a short task that simulates real work scenarios.

Objective:

Generate a list of potential leads for our web development services in a chosen industry.

Instructions:

  1. Industry Selection:

    • Choose an industry (e.g., e-commerce, healthcare, finance).

    • Explain in 100–150 words why this industry would benefit from our web development services.

  2. Lead Research:

    • Identify 10 potential leads in your chosen industry.

    • For each lead, include:

      • Company Name

      • Contact Person (Name & Job Title)

      • Email Address

      • Phone Number (if available)

      • Website URL

      • 50–100 words explaining why they’re a good fit

  3. Outreach Email:

    • Write a personalized email template introducing our services and requesting a call or meeting.

  4. Tools & Methods:

    • List the platforms and strategies you used to source your leads.

Submission Requirements:

Submit a single document that includes:

  • Your selected industry and rationale

  • The list of 10 qualified leads

  • Your outreach email template

  • The tools and research methods used

  • Attach your cover letter as a PDF

Compensation Structure

We offer a flexible, performance-based pay model:

Commission:

  • Ranges from 5% to 20% of revenue generated from your leads.

  • Higher commission for high-value or complex leads (e.g., enterprise clients).

  • Lower commission for simpler, low-value leads.

Base Pay + Commission:

  • We offer a base rate in addition to commission, depending on experience and lead quality.

Per Lead Payment:

  • Option to pay a fixed rate per qualified lead plus a percentage if the lead converts.

Performance Incentives:

  • Opportunities for higher commission rates based on lead volume or closed revenue milestones.
