Graphic Designer should be able to follow our GD Process
A) Hold a briefing meeting with the clien
- Understand client’s expectations
- See the company’s vision
- Ask about the company’s goals
- Get them to explain in detail their products or services
- Check if they have existing design materials to maintain consistency with
- Discuss the timeframe
- Establish the review processes
- Clarify the budget
B) Research client’s ecosystem
- Learn about the competitors
- Establish their point of differentiation
- Research the broader market they operate in
- Define their target audience
- Identify current industry trends
- Investigate future prospects within the industry
C) Mindmap the concept
- Pick some appropriate ideas for the typography
- Determine potential colour palettes
- Assess the key messages to convey
- Consider how different tagline wordings could impact on the design
- Sketch out symbols and icons 6 Prepare variations on each theme
D) Create initial mockups
- Pick a couple of concepts
- Sketch out the ideas with paper and pen
E) Create first draft designs
- Select your preferred sketches
- Recreate them within your design software
- Create 4 variations of each, changing colour and typography
F) Refine the designs
- Create the initial final designs
- Double check for errors including spelling
- Save the files in the format(s) requested by the client
- Consider creating an exhibition PDF for cleaner presentation of multiple images
G) Get approval for final work from the client
- Make any small iterations to the designs if necessary
- Compile all the design files in the ways most convenient for the client

- Website design: UI/UX of Websites and apps.
- Print design: Brochures, flyers, billboards, stickers, stationery sets, T-shirts, mugs and other products.
- Editorial/Publishing design: Book and magazine covers, ebook layout and design, magazine spreads, graphs or other images in nonfiction books.
Good to have
- Animation design: Video games, cartoons and animations for television or movies, brand animation for social media channels, motion graphics for online videos.
- Engineering design: Signage, exterior building displays, wayfinding systems, retail store design, museum exhibits, and exterior design elements such as fountains and sculptures.
